Enjoy a relaxing vacation in the Tidewater Inn. It’s West Yarmouth location on Route 28 means that you’re a short ride from the Cape Cod commercial center of Hyannis. You’ll easily get to the ferries to visit the nearby islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. It’s also convenient to the quaint Chatham village.

The Tidewater Inn has clean and cheery guest rooms set on a 4-acre grounds that include a large outdoor pool (there’s an indoor one as well), landscaped picnic area, barbecue grills, volleyball courts, and a kids playground. So you can choose to either explore Cape Cod with your family or just kickback for an afternoon and enjoy each other’s company at the pool and over hotdogs. The perfect Cape Cod choice!

You can choose among the Double Guest Room, King Guest Room, and Jacuzzi Suite. The room rates depend upon the season, day of the week, and of course which one you choose. To give you an idea of the price range I called and asked about a room for 3 nights starting on July 25, 2001 – which is pretty much the height of our tourist season. A double room for 2 adults priced at $129 per day.  The King Room for two adults was $139 per day. If you want to opt for the Bed N’ Hot Breakfast Package the price is $139 a day. It is based on a famiy of 2 adults and 2 kids and includes accommodation and a $14 voucher for breakfast in their own Helen’s Diner. I tried out the diner food was very good, stuff kids will like, and the folks there were very friendly! I’d call this a moderately priced Cape Cod hotel, with a family-friendly vibe.
