About. The Old Landing Motel is located at 15 Sea Street, in Dennisport, on Cape Cod. The 16-unit motel owned by father and son David and Jon Maslin is located on Nantucket Sound, with some rooms having ocean views. You can either enjoy the beach or the pool. If you’re a coffee lover, there is a mini espresso bar in the lobby serving espressos, caffe lattes, and cappuccinos made from gourmet coffee.

Amenities. All rooms have either king or queen beds and futons, cable TV, cross-ventilation, small refrigerators, central automatic heating for spring and fall vacations, some rooms have views of Nantucket Sound. High-speed wireless internet is also available.

Spring Room Rates. If you stay on the ground floor, Spring room rates vary from $50 to $90. If you want connecting rooms the spring rate starts at $80 and goes to $140. Oceanview second floor rooms start at $60 and go to $100. These rates may be higher on weekends and holidays and the length of stay can also affect the room rates. The Midway Motel in North Eastham, Cape Cod has Spring Rates as Low as $66 a day!

If you want a quiet, peaceful, spring getaway on Cape Cod, please check out the Midway Motel in North Eastham. $66 gets you a room with 1 Queen Size bed for two people from March 6 to May 28. If you prefer 2 double beds the rate increase from $70 to $96 depending on the number of people included in the reservation.  There may be minimum stays for some weekends, may be some specials and discounts, so always call ahead 800-755-3117.

All rooms have air-conditioning. Though I can’t believe you’ll need it in the spring. No pets and no smoking applies.

What I like most is that the owners live there, so you know, it’s going to be a well-behaved, quiet, well-taken care of motel. When Leo and I travel, this is always a big plus for us. The Midway Motel is small and it’s site has lots of open space. This always makes a motel feel more peaceful.

It’s connected to the Cape Cod Rail Trail by a short path. So if you like to bike, this is great. Spring is a good time to come for that. Sometimes in the summer, even on Cape Cod, it gets so hot that you don’t feel much like it!

The Country Acres Motel in Sandwich is a Great Setting for a Family Vacation on Cape Cod.

The Country Acres Motel is lcoated on Route 6A just outside of the Historic Sandwich Town Center. Its grounds have a very spacious feel to them. A large pool with seating area is at the center of the courtyard, which is adjacent to the Great Salt Marsh of Cape Cod Bay. Sometimes if you have small children, it’s easier to let them play in the pool than to schlepp them to the beach. That way there’s a quiet room for nap time and you own clean bathroom is nearby as well. The rooms also have refrigerators and microwaves, so you can save on simple meals and snacks. There’s also a complimentary continental breakfast, except during the winter.

The Crow Farm Stand is right across the street so you can get fresh fruit, veggies, and baked goods. Even take a farm tour! It’s been there forever and is a Sandwich tradition.

The room rates differ by season, but they are still in the affordable range for a family vacation. If you want to come to Cape Cod in the Spring (May 1 to June 18) or Fal (August 30 to October 31), you can get a room with 1 Queen Bed from $74 to $84; a room with 2 Double Beds from $$84 to $94; and a larger room with 2 Double Beds and a pull-out couch from $89 to $99.

During the summer season you’ll still find affordable motel rates. A room with 1 Queen Bed ranges from $89 to $104; a room with 2 Double Beds ranges from $99 to $114; and the largest rooms with 2 Double Beds and a pull-out couch range from $104 to $124.

The Bayside Resort has a great heated indoor pool. A year-round vacation option!

The Bayside Resort has a reputation for good customer service and being really clean. A lot of our friends stay there when they visit in the winter because of the heated indoor pool. Leo and I love it when they invite us over to spend the day poolside with them. It really picks up our flagging winter spirits.

Room Rates. I would say the room rates are moderate compared to other Cape Cod lodging options. There basic room during peak season goes for $159 during the week and $179 on the weekend. This is an approximate range. You actually have to get into the booking process to see the actual rate for your room and time period. A deluxe room goes for about $179 midweek and $199 on the weekend. The Jacuzzi Suite is their most deluxe option and goes for about $225 midweek and $245 on the weekend. These suites are designed for couples and feature a king sized bed, and a Jacuzzi tub for 2 located directly in the guestroom. Again you need to call to verify the actual room rates for your vacation stay. Here’s the number 800-243-1114. Of course there are off season rates, which are a lot less.

Blue Dolphin Inn Memorial Day Weekend Special Stay Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and get Monday for only $49!

The Blue Dolphin Inn is located on Route 6 in Eastham. For Memorial Day weekend the basic room rate is only $129. Your choice of either 1 king bed or 2 queen beds. A two-room suite is $229. Stay Monday and avoid the traffic for only $49. Eastham is way far down the Cape, perfect for getting away from it all. But on Sunday or Monday of Memorial Day weekend you could be looking at a huge traffic jam. Maybe as much as 20 or 30 miles. I’d stay over and go back Tuesday. Seriously, I live about 3 miles from the Sagamore Bridge off of Route 6A. It isn’t uncommon for traffic to start backing up at 10 or 11 am and stay that way all day.

Spring Rates from April 17 to June 25 for a single room range from $59 to $99. The two room suites from $149 to $219.
Early Summer Rates from June 26 to July 23 for a single room range from $109 to $159. The two room suites from $229 to $279 (3-night requirement).
Summer Rates from July 24 to September 6 for a single room start at $119 and go to $159. The two room suites start at $229 and go to $279 (3-night requirement).
Fall Rates from September 7 to October 18 for a single room start at $69 and go to $94. The two room suites start at $149 to $189.
Amenities. In addition to great rates you also can sit by the pool and sun yourself. Sometimes that can be more relaxing than schlepping everything to the beach. There’s something to be said for your very own clean bathroom too!

Chatham Motel Room Rates start $85 during the week and $105 on Friday and Saturday from May 1 through May 29.

Rooms The Chatham Motel is located at 1487 Main Street, in the town of Chatham. All rooms have either two double beds, or one king bed, refrigerator, air-conditioning, heat, television, telephone, a large private bathroom. Most are non-smoking.  One room is completely handicapped accessible with a queen-size bed.

Room Rates There are three types of rooms - Standard, Superior, and Deluxe.
From May 1 to May 29 - From Sunday through Thursday the Standard room rate is $85. Superior and Deluxe rooms $95. On Friday and Saturday nights the rates increase to $105 to $115.
From May 30 to June 21 - From Sunday through Thursday the Standard room rate is $100; Superior $110, and Deluxe $120. On Friday and Saturday nights the rates increase to $130, $140, and $155.

Things to Do If you love to bird watch, Chatham is a phenomal place You can see an amazing number of birds at the Monomoy Natioanl Wildlife Refuge. A 7,600 acre park that provides refuge, nesting, and feeding habitat for migratory birds. Even if you don’t go to the refuge, just remember to look every so often!

If you prefer shopping and browsing, the Main Street area is a totally adorable New England village. Just what you’d expect a traditional coastal town to be. Affordable Cape Cod Spring Vacation Starts at $65 a night at the Wishing Well Motel in Harwich.

Today was a beautiful day on Cape Cod. So there’s plenty of good weather and other reasons to getaway and enjoy Cape Cod in the off-season. The Wishing Well Motel in Harwich is the perfect affordable motel for such an escape. It’s a short walk to the beach and has a swimming pool. Although at this time of year, the pool probably isn’t an option! All units have private baths, telephones, refrigerators, TV and are heated and air-conditioned. But No Smoking and no pets.

A room with a queen size bed is only $65 until May 21st. And if you book online or pay in cash upon your arrival you can save 5%. Stay 3 or more nights and save $10. I’m not sure if these can be combined. But, wow, such a good rate!

A room with two double beds, a microwave and coffee pot is only $75. A studio with 1 queen bed and full kitchen is also $75. That is probably the choice for Leo and me. I want coffee before I do anything. And the money we save on breakfast and late night snacking, is amazing.

If you’re travelling in a group a 2 bedroom suite is only $135. One bedroom has 2 double beds, the other a single queen bed.

The Wishing Well Motel has been owned and operated by Wally Cunningham since 1985. Leo would like this option alot. He grew up at a fishing camp and motel in Florida, and always likes to stay at small locally owned motels whenever it’s possible.

The Craigville Motel is an affordable Cape Cod Lodging Option! I have been searching the web today so I could report some really affordable Cape Cod hotels and motels. I’m excited to have found this for you. You have to make reservations to receive these rates. You can call them at 800-338-5610.

Until April 30th, the Craigville Motel rates start at $39 and go to $59.
From May 1 to June 25 the Craigville Motel rates range from $49 to $79.
Summer Rates from June 26 to August 31 are still an affordable $125.

First two children under the age of 12 stay free!
For each additional cot or crib add $10.
Rates may change without notice, so I’d book early to lock in the rates.
During the summer you can save even more money, if you take advantage of the free continental breakfast served from the end of May until September.

But no pets allowed.

I should really tell you something about the motel. First of all, The Craigville Motel is a family-owned business. It has 41 rooms on a 12-acre site with a swimming pool and sunning deck. All rooms include air conditioning, 25” Cable TV, Room Controlled Heat, Microwave, Refrigerator, In Room Telephone.

The location is quite good too. You’re near the docks for the Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket ferries, the John F. Kennedy Museum, the Cape Cod Mall, and lots of restaurants! Oh the Kennedy museum in the one on Main Street, Hyannis. Don’t confuse it with the JFK Library in Boston.
