The Mariner Hotel is a retro-style, family-owned motel on Main Street, Falmouth. You’re within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, cafes, and live music. When you return to the Mariner Hotel, you can relax in their heated outdoor pool! If you’re arriving by bus, the Mariner provides free transportation to and from the bus station – for guest arrivals and departures.

This is the perfect place to come if you don’t have a car. You’ll have lots to do within easy walking distance. The Cape Cod Bus – the B Bus – goes right by the Mariner hotel as well.

You’ll enjoy rooms with either 2 Double Extra Long Beds, 1 Queen Bed or 1 King Bed. Early Spring (April 1, 2011 – June 23, 2011) visitors will find lower rates from only $69 to $129. Early Fall tourists (August 29, 2011 – October 9, 2011) will enjoy room rates from $89 to $129. The Shoreway Acres Inn is actually several buildings located in a park setting. You’ll be able to stay in one of four restored sea captain’s homes or the modern-style hotel wing. Located on Shoreway Road, the Inn is just a block south of the shops and restaurants of Falmouth Main Street. Enjoy the indoor pool and sauna on a rainy day. Sit poolside outside to enjoy the summer sun.

All of the Shoreway Acres Inn Rooms have the following features and amenities prviate baths, telephones with voicemail, cable television, refrigerator, coffee or tea maker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, individually controlled heat and air conditioning. (Don’t kid youself, we do get hot, humid nights on Cape Cod and you’ll want air conditioning.)

You’ve got several room options available that mostly differ with the beds and the number of folks you can sleep there. Petite Rooms are perfect for one person. They have either a full or queen bed. Standard Rooms contain one queen  bed or two double beds. Superior Rooms feature two full beds or one king bed and a sleep sofa. Deluxe Rooms have two full beds. Parlor Rooms are the only category of rooms that give you a kitchen facilities along with either a queen bed or two double beds.

Room Rates As is typical for Cape Cod, room rates vary significantly from season to season. A summer weekend stay will cost from $199 to $309 per day plus tax. During the week you’ll pay $159 to $279. On a summer weekend, there is a two night minimum. Parlor Room are rented by the week.

During the Winter Season (January 1 through April 18) stay during the week for as little as $89. When Spring (April 19 through June 13) this increases to $99. After the Summer Season passes, rates return to Spring levels. The Sandwich Lodge and Resort is located on  beautiful grounds on Route 6-A in Sandwich, Massachusetts. It is a pet-friendly hotel, with your pets being welcome if you stay in one of their Standard Motel Rooms.

A Standard Motel Room includes either 2 double beds or 1 king bed, mini-fridge and microwave, table with 2 chairs, in-room climate control and a prviate bath. These rooms are conveniently located on the first floor next to the parking area. On the other hand, if you have pet allergies, you might want to stay in the other types of rooms, where pets are excuded.  

A second room choice is the One Room Suite, which is larger version of the Standard Motel Room with a kitchenette that adds a sink to the mini-fridge and microwave included in the Standard Motel Room. The One Room Suites are located on the first and second floor. If you are on the first floor, you might have a sliding glass door that exits on to the parking area.

Deluxe Suites have two-rooms. A bedroom with either a king bed or 2 double beds, closet, and television. The sitting room includes a pull-out sofa, television, table with two chairs, kitchenette as decribed in the One Room Suite. It also has individual climate control. These rooms are located on the first and second floors adjacent to the indoor pool.

For a romantic getaway, choose a Jacuzzi Suite. This is a single room with king size bed, television with HBO, private balcony overlooking indoor pool, individual climate control, microwave and mini-fridge and of course a Jacuzzi bath for two.

A complimentary deluxe continental breakfast is served poolside. It does have both an indoor pool and seasonal outdoor pool.

The Sandwich Lodge and Resort is right across the street from a Stop & Shop grocery store, so you don’t have to worry about bringing any food to stock the mini-fridge. It’s also right next door to the British Beer Company, which serves great meals and has live music most Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. I think it is one of the best music venues on Cape Cod.

Budget-minded Cape Cod tourists will love the Town and Beach Motel on Main Steet, Hyannis. What you get is a family-owned, vintage hotel that feels like it’s at home in the 1950′s or 1960′s with clean rooms and a geat location.

Located at 382 Main Street, the Town and Beach Motel is just a short walk from Liam Maquire’s Irish Pub and numerous restaurants and cafes, gift shops, and clothing stores – as well as the famed Eight Cousins Bookstore. You can also hop on the local bus that runs by the hotel and take in the village of Woods Hole or catch the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. This is a great idea, because parking in Woods Hole can be a real headache in at the height of the tourist season.

During the summer you can stay at the Town and Beach for an amazing $75 + tax. There are usually weekly specials and Senior Discounts available. Of course, as is typical on Cape Cod you pay more for holiday weekends and the Falmouth Road Race weekend.

If you can make an off-season Cape Cod vacation, then you’ll enjoy room rates of $45+tax. Mid-season rates are only slightly higher at $55.

There’s no complimentary breakfast or swimming pool, but I would suggest that for a wonderful budget-friendly breakfast you walk down Main Street to Mary Ellen’s Portuguese Bakery. For $5 you get two eggs, toast, home fries and your choice of ham, bacon, or sausage. This is my favorite breakfast spot on Cape Cod and I often drive the 20 miles from Sandwich to Falmouth to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and great food. I guess I should always say that this breakfast is a special and I really don’t know how long the price will last. But I’ve always found great value in all of the delicious beakfasts that I’ve eaten there. They are open at 5 am, so if you’ve got an early ferry ride to catch, this is perfect.

Enjoy a relaxing vacation in the Tidewater Inn. It’s West Yarmouth location on Route 28 means that you’re a short ride from the Cape Cod commercial center of Hyannis. You’ll easily get to the ferries to visit the nearby islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. It’s also convenient to the quaint Chatham village.

The Tidewater Inn has clean and cheery guest rooms set on a 4-acre grounds that include a large outdoor pool (there’s an indoor one as well), landscaped picnic area, barbecue grills, volleyball courts, and a kids playground. So you can choose to either explore Cape Cod with your family or just kickback for an afternoon and enjoy each other’s company at the pool and over hotdogs. The perfect Cape Cod choice!

You can choose among the Double Guest Room, King Guest Room, and Jacuzzi Suite. The room rates depend upon the season, day of the week, and of course which one you choose. To give you an idea of the price range I called and asked about a room for 3 nights starting on July 25, 2001 – which is pretty much the height of our tourist season. A double room for 2 adults priced at $129 per day.  The King Room for two adults was $139 per day. If you want to opt for the Bed N’ Hot Breakfast Package the price is $139 a day. It is based on a famiy of 2 adults and 2 kids and includes accommodation and a $14 voucher for breakfast in their own Helen’s Diner. I tried out the diner food was very good, stuff kids will like, and the folks there were very friendly! I’d call this a moderately priced Cape Cod hotel, with a family-friendly vibe. Falmouth Inn – Year Round Cape Cod Accommodation

Cape Cod is a wonderful place for a quick getaway any time of year. While the summer is always fun and fabulous, other times of the year can be just as much fun. It’s easy with the Falmouth Inn being open all year.

If you love St. Patrick’s Day and would love to do something special. Then grab a few days and head to the Falmouth Inn. Because just a short walk down Main Street, you’ll find Liam Maquire’s Irish Pub. I’ve been to their St. Patrick’s Day celebration, eaten the corned beef and cabbage and sung along with Liam Maquire himself and it’s not to be missed.

Golf is very popular on Cape Cod and we have a pretty long golfing season. The Falmouth Inn has several golf packages available and their guests get discounted preferred tee times at 10 different 18-hole golf courses (Ballymeade Country Club, Cape Cod Country Club, Crosswinds County Club, Falmouth Country Club, Farms Neck in Martha’s Vineyard, Sandwich Hollows Golf Course,  Old Banstable Golf Club, Paul Harney Golf Club, Quashnet Valley Golf Club, and the Brookside Country Club)

The Falmouth Inn has 123 guests rooms with color televisions and free HBO. A few of these rooms do allow pets. There’s an olympic size swimming pool.

If an ocean view is an important part of your Cape Cod vacation plans, then the Inn at the Sound is a great hotel for you to choose. It sits on a 45-foot high bluff overlooking Nantucket Sound. Most of the rooms enjoy this view and some even have decks. The Inn at the Sound is open year-round, so if you want a romantic winter getaway, this is a great choice.

The Inn at the Sound has 10 roomy and sparkling clean guest rooms. The room rates vary depending upon the time of season, the days of the week, and the room you select. As is common for a Cape Cod hotel, the tourist year and room rates are divided into 3 time periods – the Peak Season (6/10/11 – 9/10/11), the Shoulder Season (4/15/11 – 6/9/11 and 9/11/11/ – 10/30/11) and the Quiet Season (4/1/11/ – 4/14/11 and 10/31/11 – 3/29/12). Most Cape Cod hotels do this, but they all have their own season labels and time periods, and they often change every year. For example stay in the Deer Pond room during the Quiet Period on a weekday and pay $145 a day + tax. But choose the Great Harbor Room for a summer weekend and pay $355 a day + tax.

As is typical there is a minimum stay requirement from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend of three nights. During the Shoulder Season two nights are required. The Inn on the Sound is smoke-free, does not allow pets, and children must be atleast 12 years old.

Enjoy a Cape Cod vacation at a family-owned motel on conveniently located Main Street, Hyannis. The Hyannis Inn Motel has 77 well-kept, modern, and clean guest rooms. You can choose from a Standard Room, Deluxe Room, and Whirlpool Room. Each room has its own climate control, free wifi, and outside decks. Deluxe Rooms are larger, with king or queen beds, sofas, and a refrigerator. There are just a few whirlpool rooms. All of the rooms are non-smoking.  Whether its raining or sunny, enjoy the heated, indoor pool or relax in the sauna. If you’re hungry stop by the Bluebird Restaurant enjoy a cocktail in the Elbowroom Lounge. While the hotel is located on the bustling Main Street of Hyannis, MA, it is set back a bit with a courtyard to buffer you from the busy world.

Hyannis Inn Motel Room Rates In April you can find room rates as low as $52, but as summer nears the room rates increase. But the most expensive room rate I found here was $177 for a room with a Whirlpool during July and August. So I would say this is a moderately-priced Cape Cod hotel. All of this can change so it’s best to call and confirm at 800-922-8993

If you love shopping for bargains, then walk across the street to the Hyannis Flea Market. If you love homemade ice cream stop by Katie’s Homemade Ice Cream. Most people don’t realize how close Main Street is to the Hyannis Harbor. But you can enjoy strolling the harbor in the early morning, catch a ferry to Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard, even buy a book at Tim’s Books. History buffs will enjoy the John F. Kennedy Museum.

If you live in Boston and don’t have a car, you can easily take the bus to Hyannis and then it’s an affordable cab ride to the Hyannis Inn Motel.
