Irish Pubs have been popular on Cape Cod for as long as I can remember. I think that it might be because so many Irish came to this country and settled on Cape Cod. In Sandwich, it was Irish artisans that worked at the famous Boston and Sandwich Glass Company. A lot of South Boston Irish who have vacationed on Cape Cod for generations. When I was growing up, my Cape Cod neighborhood was a combination of Italian and Irish families. At let’s not forget about the Kennedy clan.
